World Cup 2014: Elephants painted in national flags demonstrate their football skills


A football match where the only injuries reported
during the game were the footballs. Yes, Elephants have been helping to kick off
the world cup craze for 2014. They took on on students at a warm-up game
held at an elephant camp in Ayutthaya province in Thailand. The large mammals were all painted in various
national flags ahead of the match. It looks like the student team put up a strong
offensive game, despite their size disadvantage. The match ended in a 3-all draw. The 2014 World Cup in Brazil set to begin
on June 12 and is expected to once again prove hugely popular with young Thais, despite the
ongoing political crisis.
