OF COURSE WEEDIC WAS A SHOWMAN WITH A PULSE ON THE TIMES AND HE POSITIONED THE STAMPEDE IN SPACE FOR A COLLECTIVE CELEBRATION AND IN 1919 HE ALSO CALLED ON CALGARIANS TO HOLD HIGH THE TORCH. ALL PROCEEDS WOULD GO TO PROVIDING FOR CHILDREN WHO LOST THEIR FATHERS IN THE GREAT WAR THROUGH THE WORK OF THE SALVATION ARMY, GREAT WAR VETERANS ASSOCIATION, WHICH WAS A PRECURSOR TO THE LEGION AND THE YMCA. SO WE’RE CELEBRATING A NUMBER OF THE VETERANS AS WE SEE RIGHT THERE, THE 1919 VICTORY STAMPEDE, 100 YEARS LATER. [ ♪♪♪ ]>>Graham: I’M STANDING HERE WITH RICK WHITE, RIGHT?   2. i watched looked at five videos looking for the RED DEER ROYALS and i finaly found them and i almost started to cry this year was my first year and have done alot of sports but royals is my famliy a great group to be apart of.
