One of the things we as women misconstrue growing up is we think
that to be a leader you have to be a person in a position of power. Our whole mission is to teach that leadership is personal not positional,
that to be a leader you simply have to care enough to raise your hand. You simply have to care enough to get out of your comfort zone to take a risk.
To speak up, to stand up and those are the things that we want young girls to realize. That you don’t need all the accolades, you don’t need all the fancy jargon,
you don’t need any of that you just need to care deeply about an issue. And it could be just as simple as changing one person’s life. …that’s leadership, service is leadership and when that starts to click
with a young girl, they realize the potential and it’s super powerful.
