One Piece, Grandma’s Kitchen and FIFA | Servus, Serge Gnabry | FC Bayern

I definitely feel great pride. Bayern is a club every child knows about. It’s a great honor for me to be able to play here. Ich took it because it really looks great and I hope that over the course of time it will mean good things. Servus! My name is Serge Gnabry. I am 22 years old and play in attacking midfield. I was born and raised in Stuttgart. I started to play at the age of four-and-a-half for my home club of TSV Weissach. I went from there to Ditzingen, then to Hemmingen, Feuerbach, the Stuttgarter Kickers and then eventually to VfB Stuttgart. I spent a long time there before I transferred to Arsenal at the age of 16. In 2016 I switched to Werder Bremen, then I signed a contract with Bayern and went to Hoffenheim on loan for one year. FC Bayern is a club every child knows and it’s simply a massive club with a great deal of success. To be able to play for Bayern is a great honor for me. What kind of music do you listen to? I like listening to Hip/Hop, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, all of those things. What’s the first thing you do when you get up? I try to get sorted. Mario Kart, Fortnite or FIFA? FIFA. Where do you keep your under 21’s European Championship medal? I put it up at home in Weissach, my mom hung it above the showcase. Coffee or tea? Tea. Your most important career move? Most important for me was to transfer to London as a youth player. It was a new culture and a new club. I wanted to try something different to evolve as a player and a person. Who are your role models? There are a lot in football. In the past years definitely Ronaldo. I greatly admire his attitude, his willpower and the fact that he simply always delivers. What was your first pro goal? That was in an away game with Arsenal in Swansea. It was a short succession of passes and I was offsides already. I took a step back, Aaron Ramsey passed the ball to me and I buried it bottom left. Favorite food? Anything my grandma cooks but my favorite is salty potatoes with butter sauce and fish. What cheers you up? Jokes or simply being left alone. What’s your favorite series? One Piece. Which social media channels do you use? Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Your dream tattoo? It would involve my year of birth. Will you get one? I’m thinking about it.

    Hausaufgaben gemacht, sehr gut.

  2. Love Bayern.. Love coman.. Hope they(including gnabry Davies and robbery ) can all help Bayern in UCL this season and cup for the treble..! Our defense need to be stronger than ever now for a CL trophy.. Come on bavarians.. ??
