Hello Gregg…another dominatinng
performance by Aquinas…they met their season average in points with 75….playing most of the first half without leading scorer Lexi Donarski who was in foul trouble. So it was defense and balannced scoring attack…..Blugolds caused 29 turnovers…leading to 36 points….and 5 players on the team had double digit efforts on the offensive end. Obviously we are a lot better when Lexi is on the court. But we all just knew that we needed to step up when she is not on the court. We all just had to distribute some of of that. The truth be told. We have been blesseed to have great balance. And we were successful in that. Tonight look at our scoring. That type of balance is hard to prepare for. Taylor Theusch had had a really nice first half along with Kyah. And it just kept rolling from there. The defense started it and then our balance took over.
