Lets kick this game off quickly…pass down low to Terrance Thompson…he slams it home…he had 20 points tonight…Central up 2 to nothing… Big game tonight from Johnny Davis as well…he gets the pass on the fast
break….lays it off the glass…that’s good for two of his 16 points on the night…. Central running the court again…this time Jordan Davis works his way down low…he banks it in…. Little trouble this evening for Central in an 89-39 win. Onalaska hosting West Salem. both teams off to one-and-one starts. Hilltoppers storm out of the gates. Landon Skemp drives baseline. Number-one ranked in D-five Bangor hosting Black River Falls. Big game from Caleb Miedema…he gets the pass in the corner…bangs it down…25 points from him to lead the Cardinals…. First game of the MVC boys basketball schedule as Sparta travels to Holmen. Second half. Vikings get it up ahead Kevin Koelbl. He drives in and lays it off for Tatum Grass. Holmen leads 47-23… Later on. Craig Newsome Jr. puts his shoulder down and powers his way inside. Gets the tough floater to go down… He’s all smiles tonight as Holmen dominates the Spartans 86-50… Only two teams remain undefeated in the Three Rivers East girls basketball standings. They square off tonight. Caledonia hosting Winona Cotter. the two are a combined ten-and-oh. First half. Cotter’s Abbey Allen kicks it to Megan Morgan who burries the triple. Rambles take an 11-2 lead. Back comes Caledonia on a run of their own as Ashley Schreoder drills the corner three ball to tie it up at 11…. Then Cotter’s Josie Huelskamp pulls up and knocks down the mid range for two of her 13 points to take an 18-13 lead. But the Warriors take back the lead going into halftime with this turn around shot by Jenna Twite. Great ballgame. Caledonia stays undefeated winning 54-48… Number-one in Division four Aquinas hosting city rival Logan. Aquinas getting off to a fast start. Scoring off the opening tip…Madessa Collins finishes the lefty layup. 2-0… It would be all Bluegolds in this one. Jessa Peterson with the steal. She gets the bucket to go for two of her 12 points. 15-2 Aquinas…. And they go on to win in convincing fashion. 81-25. Sparta with their MVC opener. traveling to undefeated Holmen. First half. Vikings swing it into the corner. Caitlin Young catches it in rhythm. and drains the shot Holmen leads 19-10. Vikings keep it rolling. Brooklyn Paulson gets it and attacks the hoop. Gets the floater to go down in traffic. Game high 19 for her… Holmen wins the battle against Sparta 57-40… Onalaska boys hockey back in action after last week’s big win against West Salem/Bangor. tonight facing La Crosse. Quick start for Onalaska. Carter Stobb gets a clean look. Fires up a wrister. It goes past the glove and into the net. Hilltoppers lead 1-0… Few minutes later. Mason Manglitz takes it in deep.
