to do some mean tweets? – I’m ready. – Sarah Spain sounds like
a nagging wife on TV today. – Not even married yet. (laughs) – Julie Dicaro is a run-of-the-mill
mediocre beat writer. – Not atrocious. Not good. – Just sorta there. – I’m actually not a beat
writer at all, but ok. (laughs) – Sarah Spain is just a scrub muffin. – I don’t even know
what a scrub muffin is. – I don’t either. – I love muffins. – One of the players should beat you to death with their hockey stick. – Like the whore you are. (beep) – I’m just reading this. – Ok. (sighs) – I mean. Ok, this is why we don’t hire any females unless we need, uh, unless we need our (beep)

I don’t think I can even say that. – Woo. Um. – I hope your boyfriend beats you. I’m sorry. – Why bring up your own rape in the story? Is it your way of firing back at critics who said you can’t get any? (sighs) – That’s something, huh? – I’m sorry. – Uh, ok. So, I have to read all of them, right? Cuz, I mean. – [Julie Dicaro] Read them I guess. – I hope you get raped again. – [Julie Dicaro] Oh. – I’m having trouble looking at you when I’m saying these things. – Mm-hm. – Uh. Uh, Sarah Spain is a

Oh my god, this is literally the most mind-boggling thread I have ever read.
Firstly, this video isn't about who gets more abuse, the video isn't even about gender per say- it's to show the comments that can be said online compared to those said to face.
Secondly, for the genders TO be equal we must accept the harassment both sexes go through, so basically shunning this video away and saying 'oh just a dumb women making it about herself' and then proceeding to want women to give a fuck about male suicide, isn't equality. It is the reason we HAVE inequality, because people won't just listen. They have to say why their situation is worse- 'oh but males get that all the time, thicken up women'
Thirdly, this is why society and its views are fucked. I have read all these responses and it gives me the displeasure of telling you all that people like you are the reason for this fuck up:
    A. About men: men are still seen as these thick skinned people who aren't allowed to show any emotion- hence why suicide in men is higher than in women because they don't seek the help due to this stereotypical view- this is also why you think women should be more thick skinned is because you were raised to be that way too. Sadly, this is where you lost track of the better- instead of saying to be all tough like you 'guys', you, in fact, should be lowing your tough side to get in touch with a more sympathetic overtone. This way, people will feel like you understand them and you'll feel more understood this way too- creating more harmony between the sexes.
    B. About Women: Women are still seen to this day to not harbouring any intelligence (even by you I must say calling them 'dumb') and seen as just sexual objects to be compared- which came to the disgusting comment by Ainz that it's all biological nature. Yes, maybe wanting a woman is biological for reproduction, but being violent to strangers on the street and using your dick as an excuse to be a repulsive person because of it is not acceptable. You don't see women catcalling men on the street- and men fearing being raped by them- because they want to reproduce. I get that many of these kinds of videos are aimed at women, and that is because women WERE OPPRESSED, and I know how much men hate hearing that- but it is a fact. Male patriarchy is a real thing, so many of these videos are aimed to show that they are no longer oppressed as we were and now have a voice to show it.
However to understand the nature of your argument, I must agree that more male awareness to vulnerability should be shown, and extreme feminists should not push men aside to obtain their victim card- but you went about it the wrong way. Instead of not sharing anything and toughen up- I believe we should all open up and look at the facts.
We are all human, and it's time to act like ones.

  2. I would like to see men who actually write hate comments like that say that to their victim's faces. I doubt these keyboard cowboys would have the guts to do that.

  3. I mean, yeah, there are a lot of assholes on the internet, but to portray it as this systematic war against women is wrong in my opinion. Those trolls would hate on anyone and are just trying to find the most hurtful thing to say. Also the reactions seem over acted.

  4. These guys are relatively decent people, but the shock on their faces is probably more from the fact that they didn't think that they were going to have to read actual mean tweets instead of the ridiculous stuff they do on SNL.

What I can't stand is all you bleeding hearts in the comments pretending like you didn't know, like you're so morally outraged by this that your going to actually do something to change it. Be real, you all knew this shit was going down. It doesn't matter who you are, you've had something cruel said to you, and even a child could tell that if it happens to a nobody like you, then the people whose faces are everywhere are gonna get even more of it, especially women, LGBTQ, and everyone else that people find problem with for some reason.

Let me tell you about me. I'm a bad person. I don't feel sympathy for anyone, for any reason. I watched this stone faced as a mother fucker because I don't give a shit about a single person other than myself. If I was sitting there, I could have stared one of these women in the eyes and put the hate and vitriol into it that person that wrote it did, and not feel a damn thing.

But the reason I can do this is because I accept my complicity in it. I accept the fact that by sitting around on my hands and not doing anything about it, that I have no right to be morally outraged about it. So what I have to say to you is get you're damn shit together. Either be morally outraged and try to change it, or accept it and move the fuck on.

This is the villain telling you that when you die and go wherever the fuck it is we go, if it's anywhere at all, all your fake surprise and hypocrisy is only going to get you thrown into a deeper part of hell. You must think God is a dumb mother fucker if you think he'll absolve you of your sins for a little youtube comment.

  5. People who make these comments are miserable, that's why they do it. Misery loves company.

  6. ANGRY fans sending ANGRY comments, who would've known? It's internet, you fucking idiots: IT HAS VILE CONTENT AND IT HAS VILE PEOPLE. Get over it. If one of these idiots tweeted something illegal, THEN PUNISH HIM ASAP. That's how they'll change: with a punishment. Leave the other kind men alone.

  7. People just don't seem to realize the meaning or weight of words. And it's not just men. I've seem women doing this aswell

  8. There are some fucked up people in this world and feel empowered by the anonymity the internet provides. It's one thing to talk a little trash to someone because you disagree with them, it's another to be disgustingly disrespectful to someone and say that you hope a woman (or anyone for that matter) gets raped, beaten, or killed, whether it's face-to-face or behind a computer screen. I'm appalled.

  9. These overgrown boys (NOT men) who sent these tweets have just provided extra evidence should they ever be accused of any assault.

  10. At first I thought this was dumb, like why punish these innocent guys for being guys? And then it clicked, why punish women for being women?

  11. Sports is a battle at its core, not a dance-a-thon like these females expect it to be. The women should be prepared for challenges to their opinions and mean-spirited attacks. What sort of tweets do the men receive?

  12. Just Not Sports – yeah, poor wimmin…they wanted to work with the big boys…they said we can do anything men can do! but apparently that is not true. men would not sit around and cry over shitposting online. shitposting, it's what's for dinner!

  13. Don't act like any of you men are shocked.. You know damn well you've done it yourselves on some level or you've laughed at or defended it.

  14. Sticks and stones may break my bones words are too much for women. Not even children need to be shielded from words like today's women. I'm not saying anything is right or wrong but some were indeed funny if read that way. Also men get mean things said about them that are also very personal and people laugh or cringe-laugh like (ooohhhhhhhhh daammmm). This empowering women movement seems to be making them powerless and weaker than children.

  15. the fact that there are 10k likes says a lot about society… bet they were the ones that left the comments

  16. The amount of dislikes, why am I not surprised. These people who type such comments are a bunch insignificant parasites that resort to coward like tactics. Well done to the men and the two women in this video. No one deserves to receive such abuse, no matter the gender.

  17. The only problem is that these are clearly men who WOULDNT say this to the person, reading tweets by shitheads that WOULD say this to the person. You've got an incredibly valuable message but you're sending it to the wrong audience. You don't discipline a well behaved child – you discipline a misbehaving one.

  18. Well frankly, all sportswriters take the kind of abuse that happens in the first minute….once the sexual and gender related abuse starts, THERE begins the problem.
To me, I would never criticize women more than a man and base the criticism on their gender. Criticism and dislike of others opinions, even vehemently is fair game….making it gender based is not.

  19. These don't seem like the men who'd write those type of comments though. Why not find misogynists and get them to read it?

  20. These are trolls. No difference between this and celebrities read mean tweets. Sure trolls need to get a life, but if women want to be treated the same as men then they need to stop crying about everything, this will just prove their point, that women can't handle it. Grow thicker skin, don't let them get to you, many women say this about other women too, and men about men.

  21. Why has our society become a pity society. Where people thrive off of being victims. I love how these so called men can't rap their heads around a women being called a cunt or bitch. This video should be renamed "cucks read mean tweets".

  22. It's some mean Muthafuckas walking this Earth! If u don't like a certain Sports Personality or Celebrity, Don't listen, watch, or follow them! It's that simple!!

  23. im not sure if it's more upsetting that those tweets probably came from people who are under 18, or that the people who think they are cool for saying they "laughed through this video" and are quick to undermine these women without realizing online harassment affects everyone (this video just happened to focus on the female experience) are probably over 18. the 'men' who find other people expressing (hopefully?) genuine emotion to be cucks are very disappointing.
yes, these are just comments on the internet, but maybe this is a larger reflection of how social media is turning out to be toxic and enabling troubling behaviour in people. this could be a larger reflection on how women are perceived to the people who watch sports, or just in general. it materializes in tweets, but it could also be a lot more than that. hate is hate, and this vulgar hate that we are just supposed to deal with can turn into much more.

  24. (1) Staged for false awareness. (2) Not harassment – don't self indulge your own ego to falsely claim you're being harassed. If you don't like a comment either hide the comment or don't read the comment. If you don't like the commenter then block the commenter or ignore them. You could also try posting a more intelligent response. (3) Both genders experience negative comments it only becomes 'gender based' when you exclude one of the two genders from your samples, data, and statistics – otherwise you are just being a gender biased fraud. (4) If you don't understand that Free Speech includes criticism then there really is very little hope for your whiny, needy, panicky, self-centered psyche.

  25. Who gives a shit, they should be home cooking and cleaning Instead of talking about something they have n freaking clue about.

  26. Fuck these ulgy ass unattractive women. If you can't take men talking shit about you stop trying to involve yourself with men activities. Fuck these ulgy ass whores. You know how much shit men have to go thru from both women and other men on a daily basics. Please make the same videos of men getting insulting and playing the victim.

  27. Oh you get negativity online. we do too but i guess it only matters because you're a poor defenseless women.

  28. Some people are so sad that they need to type these horrendous things to enable themselves to feel good. I personally don't understand it but I definitely walk away from this video feeling terrible for these women. Terrible

  29. Have these people ever watched jimmy Kimmels mean tweets? People on the internet don’t care who you are, they’ll talk shit no matter what.

  30. The only problem I have with this video is that they’re taking a handful of individual tweets from idiots on the internet and making it seem like its extremely common. People tell dudes to kill themselves on the internet all the time. When I look at Sarah Spain’s twitter feed, I’ve never seen any comments like these, so to me, it seems like these comments are more outliers than anything else. Just watch mean tweets, people get nasty shit told to them no matter who they are.

  31. I would have been laughing my ass off reading these tweets. holy shit these men are such beta cucks i cant even….. its fucking words whatever happen to sticks and stones may break my bones? MAGA 2020

  32. This video is like a fly trap for sad sad sad dudes, go workout, join a softball team or play some poker. You're just showing your own frustration by posting these kind of bizarre comments. This video clearly shows where comments cross the line, there's a difference between being funny and unchristian like.

  33. How to deal with real life 101. If you are insulted by a tweet then your options are: 1. Tweet back a response to the person who sent it. 2. Have a bold friend or family member tweet back a suitable response on your behalf. 3. Post a passive-aggressive assault on YouTube in the hope that your clickbait links will be shared, and at the same time grow your career. 4. (the best option) consider the stupidity of the sender and ignore them. Have a wonderful day.

  34. @ 2:32 – 2:39 I ain't even gon' lie that was brutal… The other ones I was like, "what's the big deal?", but that one was brutal.

  35. I thought that the Millennials and Gen Z were supposed to be better than mine (the Boomers), but I really wonder…

  36. These things are indeed terrible and should have never been said. But doesn't every famous person get hate like this from somebody?

  37. Are these guys suppose to feel bad because of what some other anonymous man wrote? Are they being punished for someone else’s transgression? The tweets are heinous, no doubt, but I find it very odd and actually quite cruel to put these guys through this. They should have refused to read them, got up, and walked out.

  38. 10k+ need to re-watch this and keep re-watching it until they finally get it. No excuse for having any thumbs down votes for promoting human decency.

  39. Dumbest shit I've ever seen. What a waste of time n money. Look at me, I'm a victim. Yeah, let's make guys read this shit who didn't even write it. Some man must pay, any man, even if he didn't write it! THIS ploy for attention is exactly WHY women get trolled. Grow a backbone n ignore it! Do u deserve it? Of course not. But u can't police the whole world. There r lots of trolls n assholes out there. Ignore them. Grow the fuck up. N there plenty of males out there who also cry about "cyber bullying." Ignore it, get offline. People don't take trolls seriously

  40. Do women have to do every job that a man does??
Women already have a huge advantage in many areas but they just want it all!
