Its Kevin from the heroes dev team here to present design changes coming for the queen of blaze When it comes to changes for Kerrigan the team looked to add more tactical depth to her abilities alongside her notorious Qwe combo and we hope these changes raise the impact of her talent selection on her play style as well as increased the number of compositions and battlegrounds upon which Kerrigan is Powerful, let’s take a look Carrigan’s q ability ravage now has two charges at the cost of reduced range This will allow more aggressive players to leapfrog their way to disrupting the enemy backline In addition any kills on heroes or minions will refund the charge as well as the mana cost of the ability At level 4 sharpened blades is a quest talent that increases the damage done by ravage for every enemy killed by it In addition Kerrigan has two talents at level 7 that provide beneficial options for the use of ravage Queen of Blades reduces the cooldown on her q for every hero she calls with primal grasp and Boundless fury refunds charges of ravage when Kerrigan jumps the different enemy heroes her ability primal grasp further increases Carrigan’s lethality with AoE damage Shortly after use a burst of energy will explode out from Kerrigan damaging all nearby enemies this ability allows Carrigan’s combo to output even more damage provided she sticks to her enemies Carrigan’s ultimate summon ultralisk now has an additional skill shot when cast and ultralisk will burrow out from Carrigan’s location and stun the first enemy hero it smashes into Regardless of whether the ability makes contact the ultralisk will begin to it the nearest enemy This skill shot is in addition to the abilities previous functionality allowing Kerrigan to micromanage the ultralisks target At level 13 the chrysalis talent provides Kerrigan and quick safe when activated Kerrigan will encase herself in a hardened shell that protects against the set amount of damage and Heals her for however long she remains protected by it With new functionality in addition to a more versatile kit Carrigan’s enemies will bow to the Queen of Blades or Suffer her wrath be sure to leave us a comment or subscribe to heroes of the storm around the web and we’ll see you in the Nexus never cross the Queen

  1. I love most of the changes but the reduced range on ravage is going to hurt badly- even with there being 2 charges now.. You likely wont be able to engage the back line directly with the reduced range and will have to leap frog by Qing to front line first then back line.. Might be fun and it might work well but seems like it will make Kerrigan take a lot more damage initially with the slow engage.. Also Kerri was great at chasing down and finishing kills- with reduced range that might not be her specialty any more. Overall though seems like these changes will make her much more useful in team fights from start to finish. Good changes I think- will just take a few games to get used to it.

I've been playing HOTS for a long time and with this recent Kerrigan change you have completely broken in a bad way to the point where if you dive 1 person who's any good you're already 50% dead by the time you cast your talents and if you dive 2 you're most likely 75% to 100% Dead because she has not enough damage to last in a fight when compared to her health. Horrible changes! At least when you had 75% block as a talent you could take a couple of hits but now she has barely any health and no real defense or escape to last in any prolonged fights. Horrible changes. That's not even including 1v1's against people who have blinds making you do no damage while you get wrecked like this cassia I just played against last game. As soon as I dove her every time I got down to 25% health every single time. She's supposed to be the Queen of blades and one of the most powerful beings in the universe, do her justice and fix her!!!

  3. While I'm glad you made Kerrigan more functional, she's totally out of control now and can do so much damage that she's out tanking warriors easily.

  4. I know a healer u could add to h.o.t.s. Mercy! Come on, I had so say it. I really never played this, but I’m pretty sure there’s no healer in this game that can bring people
    back to life. So she could be useful

  5. What's the point of doing a rework to turn around and nerf her? No one seems to talk about Garrosh that can't die, Kael'thas that has a fire ball that is a guarantee kill and can't escape from it a Samuro that hits real but since the pro's don't play it so therefore it doesn't get nerf. This game is constantly nerfing character has this game ever been leveled?

  6. Thanks for NOTHING becouse you redesign well and Kerigan is good for play! BUT you nerfed Kerrigan and is a unplayble now hero bye bye

  7. Instead of reworking, and buffing, heroes that were already strong why not focus on heroes that actually need it? For instance, Varian can beat Sonya sustain easily, so why should we pick Sonya? Learn to make the game better, not fix what isn't broken. Blizztard, wake up.

  8. 1:37–1:43, * Inhales deeply* The butcher, IS taller then an ultralisk….
    ….Bulls**t. If everyone saw the cinematic for heart of the swarm & played starcraft II knows they are gigantic….
    …To say a giant fat DEMON butcher that carries around a giant cleaver & hook that runs like an athletic athlete on super steroids is taller then an ultralisk is bs.

  9. Nice rework. I’m still disappointed that her skills aren’t like in her lore. But I guess can’t do about that anymore
