Goat-line technology needed? Billy goat cleared off pitch at football match

When you’re mid-football match, this isn’t
quite the thing you expect to see in goal. Yep, a stubborn billy goat caused a bit of
upset at a friendly football game on the island of Crete. The goat disrupted the game several times,
as he kept walking onto the pitch. The game was taking place in the town of Lasithi
between two local teams. As the goat made its way into the match, the
players weren’t looking too happy. It then stood in front of the goalkeeper, causing
laughter in the crowds. The goat was then taken off by a coach and
a player, rather unwillingly, only to run back onto the field again and stand guard
in front of the goal. As the real goalkeeper watched helplessly
from a distance, a crowd member saved the match – taking the goat by the horns and leading
it off the pitch.
