Fighting Waves in Turkey – Red Bull Aegean Cross 2013

It requires both speed and strength. It is a once in a lifetime event for every surfer. It is a long route and it will be challenging. I am so excited. The race will be quite tough. I hope the wind will be on our side. And as I said at the moment it looks good for smaller guys and for the lighter guys. I am around hundred kilos and I would hope the wind gets a little bit stronger. I am waiting for the wind! We really raced under very hard circumstances. It is very normal that lots of people couldn’t finish the race. I was required to be strong.

  1. Because sports such as football (im british) get way too many sponsors, and the players are paid too much, they become big-headed and winge over the smallest injuries or imperfections in their expensive lives. The sports red bull sponsor are full of really passionate sportsmen and women who get involved in competitions purely for the love of the sport, rather than the money involved.
